Women of Grace

The Women's Ministries exists to equip and assist women in applying biblical principles to their lives. We strive to provide training, encouragement, fellowship, and service opportunities for women so that they can live lives pleasing to God.

Women of Grace is a ministry of Grace Tabernacle Church. There are four quarterly events each year, generally they are in January, April, July and October. Although usually held on a Friday evening, we try to hold one a year on a Saturday morning to accommodate those who may otherwise be unable to attend.

Each event has a meal, light music, and speakers. The ladies who share are from within the Grace fellowship and we do not record these as many include personal information not to be widely disseminated. We have begun a resource page with devotional notes, verse references, recommended reads and so on - check it out!

All Women of Grace events are open invitation, in fact we encourage bringing family, friends, and co-workers—the only requirement is they must be women! For many, this is an opportunity to spend time with other women and be both challenged and encouraged in their walk with the Lord.

Women of Grace Mini-Conference & Luncheon

Saturday, June 19 we are having our next Women of Grace event. We are so excited about having a new facility and plenty of room to move around in, we decided to celebrate with a big wow - a mini-conference!

This special morning will have all the hallmarks that our Women of Grace events are known for with the added bonus of a keynote session and mini-electives for you to choose from.

As our new facility has a capacity that our previous one did not, we want to encourage you to invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. This is an excellent way to strike up or continue a conversation in a non-threatening way (who doesn't want to have an elegant cummer lunch for free?). Many women who have come have never been inside a church like ours and it has given them a chance to "check us out" without feeling like they are commiting to Sunday morning church. It may also be a way to approach someone who may be interested in spiritual things but the venue (i.e. work) may not allow for that. To that end, we have provided extra invitations in the back of the church and in the Fellowship Room. Feel free to take some!

Of course, as you all know, these events don't come together without a great deal of planning, time, work and finances. Hostessing: This involves setting and decorating a table with your own special dishes and light hostess duties.

Food Item: Helping prepare or supply any food items needed.

Tidy-uppers: Staying after the event to ensure the church is neat and clean.

Who are they?

The Women of Grace team is composed of several women: Judy Muldoon, Nicole Marsango, Corinne Brewer, Kristen Huddy, and Jackie Waltsak. We generally meet prior to an event for planning purposes, keep in contact via e-mail and Facebook and then meet again post-event for an evaluation session. We always welcome input from others and if you are interested in becoming more involved, please let us know!
